Catherine Bergin has always had a passion for colour, pattern and design and finds it really exciting experimenting with different patterns and textures to create something unique. Growing up in Tipperary Catherine always loved the feeling of looking at different fabrics and how they could become something so beautiful. It was a family tradition in her family that every season her Mother would encourage her to choose her favourite fabrics from the local store from which she would create a beautiful new dress which would be worn again and again.
The inspiration for all Bobbikate designs begins with Creating a design, choosing the fabric and colour that will reflect the essence of the style and featuring distinctive detail such as bespoke ribbon monogramming , buttons and accessories. As a Mother herself Catherine recognised the need for children's clothes that are created to last a lifetime and be passed on to the next generation with love. A lot of thought and planning goes into every single design as each style is crafted by hand in Tipperary.
All styles are cleverly designed to allow some room for growth so that they can be worn over a number of seasons.
The Bobbikate collection offers a unique range of dresses, coats and accessories that are worn both for every day use and special occasions and family events. We also offer a bespoke design service where ,you can choose your own fabric, design and style, and with our guidance have a unique outfit that your child will be delighted to wear. All styles are individually priced and we would be happy to advise you based on your selected fabric and style.
